Kinvara Christmas Market returns

Kinvara Christmas Market returns with festive cheer and the magic of local wares The Kinvara Christmas Market will return to Kinvara for two weekends on 8-9 December and 15-16 December at the Kinvara Community Hall on Glebe Road, Kinvara.

With its hallmark local flavour, the market will host nearly forty stalls bursting with Christmas gift ideas from festive hampers, free from skincare and soaps, homespun wool and Irish hand-made woollen products to silver jewellery, pottery, laser cut wood, leather belts, scented candles, baby blankets and crochet toys.

Market goers can refuel with a selection of delicious, fresh food such as fish and chips, crepes and vegan food, or simply indulge in festive treats including mulled wine, mince pies, plum puddings, hand-made chocolates and hot spiced apple juice from locally grown and pressed apples while shopping for Christmas decorations and festive flower arrangements and enjoying live music.

The annual Kinvara Christmas Market Children’s Art Competition will also return in 2018 for national school students.

This year’s theme “Plastic Free Christmas” aims to enhance the focus on local, handmade gifts that are kind to the environment and free from unnecessary packaging.

Winners in each category will receive vouchers for first place for €30, second place for €20 and third place for €10.
