Kinvara Area Visual Arts (KAVA)

Kinvara Area Visual Arts (KAVA) is delighted to announce the receipt of €8,900 in funding from Bord Iascaigh Mhara for the refurbishment of the Courthouse arts space. The greater part of this award will be spent on making the building more energy efficient, including insulating the attic and installing secondary glazing on the three  large windows. This will greatly reduce heat loss from this old building. The money will also fund the repainting of the building inside and out and the purchase of much needed folding chairs.

Gradually over the last few years improvements have been made to this lovely old building and KAVA hopes to continue this work to make the Courthouse a community building we can all enjoy and be proud of.

And now for some news on upcoming events at the Courthouse, to which you are all invited:

KAVA is very pleased to welcome two new exhibitions to the Courthouse.
