Kinvara Community Defibrillator Project Thank you to everyone who supported our recent church gate collection which allows us to continue our maintenance and training projects. The Kinvara Community Defibrillator Project (KCDP) provides AEDs (defibrillators), training and support for emergency cardiac care by First Responders. Several lives have been saved by use of the KCDP AEDs in Kinvara and we encourage all members of the community to undertake AED/CPR training.
Training courses are delivered by our own volunteer trainers, in a single 3 hour session. There is no obligation upon completion of the course (previous on-call phone system is no longer in place). The cost of €30 covers cost of providing course materials etc. Minimum age -16.
