Kinvara Plein Air 2023: A weekend of outdoor painting in Kinvara, the Burren and Thoor Ballylee. Workshops, exhibitions, paint outs and a charity auction on Kinvara Quay 5pm Monday 5th June in aid of Kinvara Alive and Médecins Sans Frontiéres

Previous PostPrevious St. Coman’s Church & Graveyard: A large part of the graveyard remains in private ownership.  Kinvara Heritage Group continue efforts to establish on what valid grounds title has been granted to these individuals. Galway County Council remain active and continue to assure all efforts are being made on their side to establish the facts.  Continued efforts are being made by Public Representatives for which KHG is grateful. Efforts will continue until this matter is resolved.
Next PostNext Cruinniú na mBád: committee invite interested Community Groups to attend a meeting on Wed 14th June 2023 @ 8pm to be held in the Burren Nature Sanctuary to discuss this year’s festival which will take place Friday 11th to Sunday 13th Aug.

  • Kinvara Community Council: Our June monthly meeting will take place on Wednesday 18th June at 8pm and we encourage all members of the community to attend these meetings where discussion and debates on any items put forward on the agenda are always welcome. All sub groups who are affiliated to Kinvara Community Council must send a representative to every KCC meeting in order to maintain their benefits. Any items for inclusion on the agenda must be emailed in by Monday 16th June and you must be there to present your item. 3 June 2025
  • Annual General Meeting: The AGM of Kinvara Community Council will take place on June 18th as part of our June Community Council meeting. The Agenda will include the Chairman’s Report, Annual Accounts for 2024, and Proposals for Directors. Nominations for directors should be received in the office by Wednesday, June 7th. Nominees will be proposed and elected at the meeting.  3 June 2025
