Make Way Day: is a national initiative by The DFI, (Disability Federation of Ireland) It takes place on September 26th and is about raising awareness and educating people of the issues wheelchair users, parents with buggies etc. and really anyone with mobility issues in our towns. It is about cars parked on footpaths, bins left out blocking the way, restaurant signs causing obstruction etc. We will be having a launch and inviting people to come walk the town with us to see some of the issues in our town.
