Greenshine on stage at the Gig Room, Community Centre, Kinvara on 11th November next. Greenshine’s latest album New Moon has been described by Liam Murphy, Arts Correspondent for the Munster Express as another milestone in the career of the Cork-based folk and contemporary trio – Mary Greene, her husband Noel Shine (multi-instrumentalist) and daughter Ellie: “It also marks another confident step in Mary’s reputation as an astute songwriter. She has established interest and respect for her family-oriented songs that deal with relevant and contemporary concerns that are heartfelt and inspirational.” Christy Moore had high praise for “The Sound of a Family immersed in music, tight in harmony, in love with song. Shine on Greenshine.” Greenshine will perform in the GiG Room, Kinvara Community Centre, 8pm Saturday 11 November (€20). Tickets for both concerts are available online at www.kinvaramusic.com and in Healing Harvest.
All takes place in Tully’s Bar side room. Door open 730pm, talks start at 8pm. Cash donations collected on the night for speakers charity of choice.
Hey Everybody! we’re delighted to share the line-up for the 2023 Kinvara Adventure Talks! we have a brilliant range of guests this year from surfing and hiking to paramotoring. Come on down to Tully’s and hear some great stories of adventure as the evenings close in.
We’re going to have an adventure book swap each week, if you’re like us with shelves of great stories gathering dust, do bring them along each week and swap them out for something new!
First up is Tessa Rafferty who earned a SheCanDo2021 bursary last year and travelled the coast of Portugal surfing and litter picking.
