The senior cycle students of Seamount College will be hosting an exhibition entitled, “Uathúlacht (Uniqueness)” in the Courthouse from the 24th – 31st of March.
KAVA have a vacancy for an administrator. This is an exciting opportunity to work in administration for a busy and growing Arts Group and Gallery in Kinvara. This position would suit someone with an interest in the arts, (but this is not essential nor is it a requirement). This position will be run through the TUS scheme and is managed by the Galway rural development company. Kinvara Alive, as a community group have been preparing for a return to ‘ busier lives and what that means for us all. Despite current global events that can be difficult for everyone, we are trying to keep our community safe and supported. We have continued to provide resource advice and online training opportunities:
- Supporting Living Works Start and eSuicide online training programmes
- Providing signage in designated areas featuring critical information and numbers.
- Facilitation of programmes to support young people, when possible.
- Ongoing support for new community groups who have established themselves nationally
- Provision of free, face to face Safetalk suicide prevention Skills programmes in Kinvara, on two dates in April:
- Monday 4th, 10am-1.30pm in the Courthouse, Kinvara or Wednesday, 27th April, 7pm-10.30pm in the Courthouse
