KINVARA WALKS

KINVARA WALKS will be offering a guided walk on the Burren every day, starting this Tuesday 01 May. We meet outside Londis at 10.00 every morning and drive to the walk start point (approx. 8 km). Walks should be prebooked for the Tuesday, Wednesday & Thursday walks. Bookings on www.kinvarawalks.com. Kinvara Foróige Transition Year Group – Kinvara Keep Cup

Kinvara United Under 18s crowned Galway FA Champions!

Kinvara U18s (all but one of whom are U17) won the Galway FA Championship on the 26th April. It was a fantastic evening at Killina, defeating Corrib Rangers 3-0 with goals from Danny Travis, Donal Mulligan, and an own goal. Burren Biz Business Network

Burren Biz Business Network hosts Jackie Queally, who has founded Biofield Tuning Ireland as one of only two Biofield Tuning practitioners in Ireland. Rock and Road News

The new date for the postponed Rock and Road Marathon, Half Marathon and 10K is Saturday 2nd June. The original date was 3rd March but things were a little snowy that weekend. Organisers Dolmen Sports are confident that there will be no snow in June. Entries have reopened for the new date and all race info and online entries are available at www.rockandroad.ie.

Kinvara Alive AGM

Kinvara Alive AGM was held in the Kinvara Community Centre on 25/03/18. At this meeting Sean Glynn presented the Chair’s report, Ger Ryan presented the Treasurer’s report and Gerhard Terpelle presented the Secretary’s report. Attendees were given an overall status of the organisation, invited to review the organisations fiscal information for the past year, ask questions about the direction it will take in the future and contribute opinions on proposed actions for the coming year.
