The Kinvara Community Council will hold it’s next meeting on Wednesday 21^st March at 8pm in the community centre. All members of the community are welcome. An agenda of the meeting will be posted on our Facebook page nearer the time.

In early March KAVA (Kinvara Area Visual Arts) will host an exhibition of portraits by photographer Markus Voetter.  ‘Faces & Crafts of Kinvara’ is composed of striking images of local Kinvara craftspeople at work. You will no doubt recognise many of the faces! Markus is originally from East Germany and now lives in Kinvara. Friday 2^nd March to Sunday 18^th March 2018 at The Courthouse, Kinvara Open daily 12 noon to 6pm. All are welcome to come in and have a look!

Kinvara Bay sailing Club are holding their annual table quiz in the Merriman on Friday 23^rd of March. All welcome, tables €40.00 There will be a raffle on the night.

Kinvara Alive is holding their AGM on Sunday the 25th of March 2018 at 8pm in the meeting room of the Kinvara Community Centre. Everybody is welcome. If you want to put your name forward to join the committee please send an email to info@kinvaraalive.com or contact the secretary at 0860841218.

Sunday 6^th May is the Community Council annual fundraiser – The Cuckoo Fun Run. This year the proceeds will go to Kinvara Men’s Shed and Kinvara Heritage Group. We would really appreciate your support in making this a successful community fun event for the whole family. There will be 10km walk/run and well as a 5km walk/run and two races for kids. for Pieta House will take place on the 12th May at 4.15am 2018. We are proud to host this event for the 4th year in Kinvara. At the moment we are putting our 2018 committee together and we are looking for volunteers for the committee (specifically someone to look after decorating and music for the event) and the sub-committees – we need help in all areas.
